Experience Deposit & Refund Policy

To secure participation in a Match Point Tennis Cruise experience, an Experience Deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-cancellable.

All payments made directly to Match Point Tennis Cruise are non-refundable and non-cancellable under any circumstances, except as explicitly required by applicable law.

By placing an Experience Deposit, you acknowledge that you are purchasing services that begin immediately and that you do not have a right to cancel for a refund.

Due to the limited-capacity nature of the Tennis programming offered ashore, Experience Deposits are required to reserve and hold participation space within the Match Point Tennis Cruise experience.

Payments Made to Match Point Tennis Cruise

Any payments made directly to Match Point Tennis Cruise, operated under Pickleball At Sea Group Cruise, are non-refundable and non-cancellable. These payments are associated with the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Match Point Tennis Cruise experience and related programming.

This includes Experience Deposits, Tennis program participation fees, and any special event or program-related payments.

Reservation Processing & Program Planning Services

Once an Experience Deposit has been received, it confirms your participation and allows Match Point Tennis Cruise to begin coordinating key elements of your experience, including reserving limited program space, coordinating court time at third-party Tennis facilities, securing instructor availability, organizing activities, and managing reservation logistics with our travel partners.

The Experience Deposit represents payment for reservation processing, administrative services, and program planning.

These services begin immediately upon receipt and involve the allocation of limited resources, including Tennis facility access, instructor time, and participation capacity that cannot be reversed once reserved.

As a result, the Experience Deposit is considered fully earned upon receipt and is therefore non-refundable and non-cancellable.

Failure to Complete Reservation

If a Guest places an Experience Deposit but fails to complete required reservation steps, including providing necessary information or completing payment requirements within a reasonable timeframe, Match Point Tennis Cruise reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In such cases, all payments made shall remain non-refundable.

Payments Made to Third Parties

Payments associated with your cruise vacation, including the stateroom deposit and cruise fare, are not paid to Match Point Tennis Cruise.

These payments are processed directly with the cruise line through our travel provider, Escape Group Cruises, and are subject to the cruise line’s cancellation policies, payment schedules, and terms and conditions.

Guests should refer to the applicable third-party provider for their respective policies.

Program Modifications

Match Point Tennis Cruise reserves the right to modify, substitute, or adjust any aspect of the Tennis program, including instructors, schedules, locations, facilities, transportation, and activities, at any time due to operational needs, availability, weather, sea conditions, port changes, or third-party provider limitations.

Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Company Cancellation & Program Changes

Match Point Tennis Cruise reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, or adjust any aspect of the Tennis Experience, including programming, instructors, schedules, locations, or activities, at any time due to operational needs, minimum participation requirements, third-party provider availability, weather, travel disruptions, port changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

In the event that Match Point Tennis Cruise cancels the Tennis Experience in its entirety for a given sailing, any compensation, including potential future credits or refunds, will be provided at the sole discretion of Match Point Tennis Cruise.

If the Tennis Experience is modified, reduced, adjusted, or unavailable in any way, including due to missed ports, transportation delays, or third-party limitations, such changes shall not be considered a cancellation and shall not entitle Guests to a refund or credit.

Match Point Tennis Cruise shall not be held liable for any additional costs incurred by Guests, including but not limited to airfare, accommodations, transportation, or other travel-related expenses.

No Partial Refunds

No refunds, credits, or adjustments will be provided for any unused portion of the Match Point Tennis Cruise experience, including missed activities, missed port stops, late arrivals, early departures, failure to participate, or voluntary non-participation.

Transfer Option

While Experience Deposits are non-refundable, Guests who are unable to travel may request to transfer their Experience Deposit to a future Match Point Tennis Cruise sailing.

Transfer requests must be submitted no later than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled departure date.

Transfers are subject to availability and apply only to payments made directly to Match Point Tennis Cruise. They do not apply to any payments made to third-party providers.

Guests are responsible for any price differences associated with the new sailing or experience. No price protection is provided.

Except as expressly provided in this section, Match Point Tennis Cruise reservations are non-transferable.

Goodwill Future Cruise Credit

At the sole discretion of Match Point Tennis Cruise, a Goodwill Future Cruise Credit may be issued in place of a refund in select circumstances.

These credits apply only to Match Point Tennis Cruise offerings, have no cash value, are non-refundable and non-transferable, and must be used within two (2) years unless otherwise specified.

The issuance of a Goodwill Future Cruise Credit does not create any obligation to provide similar accommodations in the future.

Travel Insurance

Match Point Tennis Cruise strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance to protect your travel investment and provide coverage for unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from traveling.

Guest Acknowledgment

By submitting an Experience Deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Experience Deposit & Refund Policy, including the non-refundable and non-cancellable nature of payments made directly to Match Point Tennis Cruise.

You further acknowledge that the Experience Deposit represents a valid charge for services that begin immediately upon payment.

Payment Disputes

Guests agree to contact Match Point Tennis Cruise directly by phone at 812-827-8473 and email at fun@escapegroupcruises.com and allow a reasonable opportunity for resolution, not less than ten (10) business days, before initiating any credit card dispute or chargeback.

Initiating a chargeback for a charge that is consistent with this policy, including payments for services that have already commenced, may be considered a material breach of this agreement.

Policy Exceptions

This policy applies to all Guests and all cancellations, regardless of the reason, including personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, illness, travel disruptions, weather events, or other unforeseen situations.

Exceptions will only be made where required by applicable law.
